The Ratherheath site is located directly adjacent to the A591, the major arterial trunk road into the Lake District. It is approximately four miles from the Market Town of Kendal and six miles from Windermere. The site is easily accessed from junction 36 of the M6 motorway which is approximately twelve miles away.
